Return & Refund Policy
At Mayank Chains & Jewels, we take immense pride in our 20-year legacy of providing hallmarked purity and exceptional craftsmanship. Because gold and diamond jewelry are high-value investments subject to daily market fluctuations, our return policy is designed to protect both the integrity of our products and the interests of our customers.
1. 7-Day Return Policy (Manufacturing Defects Only)
We offer a 7-day return/replacement window starting from the date of delivery, applicable only in the following cases:
* The product has a verifiable manufacturing defect.
* The product received is different from the one ordered (wrong design/weight).
* The product was damaged during transit.
To be eligible, the item must be unused, in the same condition as received, and in its original packaging with all tags, hallmark certificates, and invoice intact.
2. Non-Returnable Items
Due to the nature of precious metals and hygiene standards, we cannot accept returns on:
* Customized Jewelry: Any piece made to order, engraved, or altered (e.g., resized chains or rings).
* Earrings: For hygiene reasons, earrings are non-returnable unless defective.
* Bullion: Gold coins or bars are subject to market volatility and cannot be returned.
3. The Refund Process
Once we receive and inspect your returned item at our Mathura facility:
* Inspection: Our expert gemologists and goldsmiths will verify the purity and condition of the piece.
* Approval: If approved, your refund will be processed.
* Method: Refunds are issued via the original payment method or bank transfer within 7-10 business days.
* Note: Shipping charges and a 2% processing fee (bank/gateway charges) are non-refundable.
4. Buy-Back & Exchange (Lifetime)
While a standard "refund" may end after 7 days, we offer a Lifetime Buy-Back & Exchange policy at our Mathura showroom or through our website:
* Exchange: You can exchange your Mayank Chains jewelry for a new design at the current market rate.
* Buy-Back: We offer a cash buy-back based on the prevailing gold rate of the day, minus making charges and taxes.
* All buy-backs are subject to a laboratory purity test.
5. How to Initiate a Return
1. Contact Us: Email us at mayankchains.mtr@gmail.com or WhatsApp us at +91 9837816101 within 24 hours of receiving a damaged/defective product.
2. Unboxing Video: For security purposes, we strongly recommend filming an unboxing video when you first open your package. This serves as vital proof for insurance and return claims.
3. Secure Pickup: We will arrange a secure, insured pickup of the product through our logistics partner.
6. Cancellation Policy
Orders can only be cancelled within 2 hours of placement, as we process and dispatch high-value shipments rapidly. Once an order is dispatched, it cannot be cancelled.
